Since there is a lot of waiting at base camp to acclimatise or rest, I will share with you some of the surprises I had from what I thought was a pretty good knowledge base about life out here.

But times and society change and I feel it is important to stay in touch with family and loved ones and to share extraordinary adventures with friends as they unfold!
