We are getting up close and personal with the Lhotse face and the acclimatization is still tough with a slow walk up to camp 2 at 6’565m.
You can see the startĀ of the Khumbu glacier which is the catchment area of the Everest western shoulder, Lhotse and Nuptse.
Crevasses are (very) deep and security very good. Once again we are living on a glacier. A few stunning pictures of the sunset from both sides of where I stood and frozen rivers on the Glacier.
For the first time I saw a lot of litter. It is apparently the result of everyone leaving in a hurry after the earthquake last year and leaving everything behind in a hurry.
